Together with retail and distribution partners, we strive to bring excellence and innovation to the book publishing industry by developing emerging authors and publishing works that inspire, instruct, and encourage.

Clean Fiction: adult, young adult, children’s — general market and Christian.
Children’s: picture book, middle reader, chapter books.
A Home for Emerging Authors
Recognizing the challenge emerging authors face in publishing their work, Abundance Books reserves 50% of new release titles for authors with fewer than five books in print.
Behind every Abundance Books title is a collaborative team committed to excellence, clarity, and care. Our editors, designers, acquisitions specialists, coaches, and support staff work closely with authors at every stage of the publishing journey, ensuring each book is developed with intention and brought to market with professionalism and purpose.
How We Work
Abundance Books is led by two owning partners who work closely together to guide the vision, culture, and growth of the company.
Teresa Janzen, Editor in Chief and Owning Partner, oversees editorial direction, book production, and business administration.
Jenn Dafoe-Turner, Chief Acquisitions and Learning Community Officer and Owning Partner, leads acquisitions and oversees our learning environment.
Our Teams
Operations and Support Team — keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Dena Leggett, Executive Assistant, supports the owners and team with author communication, scheduling, events, travel, and daily coordination. Mitzi Yap, Book Launch Project Manager, leads launch planning and assists with social media.
Acquisitions Team — overseen by Jenn Dafoe-Turner, identifies and develops new projects aligned with the mission and vision of Abundance Books. Susan Davis, Fiction Acquisitions Editor, focuses on acquiring fiction.
Coaching Team — supports author development and professional growth. Teresa Janzen, Jenn Dafoe-Turner, Sharon Norris-Elliott, and Tracy Hester-Glass provide guidance, mentorship, and support to authors and community members.
Production Team — overseen by Teresa Janzen, consists of editors and designers who work collaboratively to guide each book from manuscript to finished product.
